Dec. 29, 2011 Today Will Melton of Proximo Marketing (& Computer Concepts) was here to assist, teach and help me to feel more capable and comfortable with updating my website. So, hopefully, you'll be seeing more updates.
It's been another great year for us and I'm so blessed to have wonderful sitters working for me. As with each year, we've had to say goodbye to a few of our furry clients and this is always very difficult. In Nov. we lost Pooka. All of the P&C sitters have cared for her at one time or another and we all agree that she was incredibly special...we will miss you Pooks. We also had to say goodbye to Lucky, a very sweet cat.
On a brighter note, although we don't normally cover the Charles City area, we just couldn't say "no" to the opportunity to care for 26 cats, 5 dogs and many chickens and turkeys. We had a blast !!
Paws & Claws would like to wish all of our current clients, prospective clients, friends, neighbors and viewers of our website a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year !!!
March 26, 2011 My apologies for not updating this website as often as I should. We are all keeping busy and enjoying our furry, fuzzy and feathered clients. We've added some wonderful new little ones (and some not so little), but unfortunately some have passed away and to those families we send our sincerest condolences.
Yes, we did walk again in the Christmas parade this past December and we froze !!! The theme was Christmas Town and so we all, dogs included, wore hats of various professions. By the time we passed the judge's stand, I'm sure most of the hats were either tossed aside or eaten !
On a personal note, I've added another little one to my family. A BOY
!!! His name is Toby and he's now 6 months old and weighing in at almost
2 lbs. And here he is...
August 3, 2010 It's about time I wrote a few words to all of our clients and potential clients....so I've decided to share a few thoughts on what we at Paws & Claws believe in and what we believe in is what we do and how we do it!! The pets we care for are members of their families and they mean the world to their owners. There isn't one detail in caring for them that we don't adhere to and take very seriously. So if Fluffy only eats from his blue bowl, then it's his blue bowl he gets...after all, no one knows him better than his owner. Our goal, our intent, our purpose is to keep the pets that we care for as happy and content as we possibly can in their owners' absence. This is also the reason why Paws & Claws has a firm policy that we never send a sitter to care for a pet that the sitter hasn't met prior to the visit. Our initial visit, the House & Pet Profile, is done as close to the time the client will be using our services in hopes that the pet or pets will remember us and we won't be strangers when we come to take care of them. And yes, we're always open to suggestions as to how to improve on what we do.

Wow, it has been way too long since I've updated our website.
This may, however, be a good thing. Nothing has changed.
We're all doing well, the business is doing great and we're enjoying our
visits with our furry clients. Each year our client list grows and
we've added some wonderful pets that we've come to love. On a
personal note, in Dec. of '08 Nina joined my family. She is
a red spotted on white long haired

January 23, 2009 Now that Paws
& Claws is a member of the Chamber & Tourism Alliance we had the honor
and pleasure of walking in the Christmas parade in Dec. The theme was
The Little Drummer boy so please notice our dogs "outfits"!

June 16, 2008 As our client
list grows, we welcome so many wonderful, adorable, enjoyable and loving
pets. Hopefully, as I become more talented in the area of website
maintenance, we'll be posting more pictures of our 4-legged clients.
Our sympathies to Sharon for her loss of Cody. He was very special
and all of us at Paws & Claws loved him very much.

Well, the news is sad. My little Summer passed away on Nov. 3rd.
Gracie and I are still grieving and probably will be for some time.
Thank you to all of our clients that have shared their kind words and
thoughts with me. It is much appreciated.

June 16, 2007 In Jan.'07 I (Ronnye) became the proud Mommy of
Lucy. She, like my Gracie, is a long haired Chihuahua. As of
today at 7 months old, she is a whopping 2 lbs. 12 ozs.
